"Blue-Chip" Specialty Camp
The Rick Bolus High Potential “Blue-Chip” Post Camp will be held June 24-25, 2019, at Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky. It is located just 12 miles from Lexington off I-75 and I-64. Our post camps have been an invaluable experience to the players that have attended them over the years. In fact, players from all over the nation have attended, just to be a part of this exceptional camp.
College coaches lament the fact that post play has diminished due to many post players preferring to face up. Learning the finer points of pivot play will add to your versatility and overall game. Our most asked question is, “How tall do you have to be to attend post camp?” The answer is simple - there is no height requirement! It is important for all players, regardless of position to operate with their backs to the basket at times. Posting your defender forces him/her to think about something besides your jump shot and will boost your scoring. Keep in mind, once the ball enters half-court, the post player becomes the most important player on the floor.
Our experienced staff will provide personal attention in a dynamic setting. You will be amazed by how much you will learn in a short time. You will be able to improve your game tremendously and develop the correct fundamentals of post play; thus, making you even more valuable. There is low player/staff ratio too. If you are looking to taking your game to the next level, then let the High Potential “Blue-Chip” Post Camp assist you in getting your game to its highest potential!
