DERBY CLASSIC 2017

The Kentucky Derby Festival Office announced that the 45th Annual Derby Classic All-Star Game will be played on April 15th at legendary Freedom Hall in Louisville, KY. Four Louisville signees, one Kentucky signee and three Indiana recruits have agreed to play. The rest of the roster will be announced in the coming weeks. To view the press release, click below.

CHARLESTOWN'S 3A GIRLS REGIONAL FINAL

Saturday evening I observed the championship of the 3A Charlestown (IN) Regional in Charlestown. Ramsey North Harrison (26-2) defeated Vincennes Lincoln (21-7) by a score of 61 to 48. North Harrison will advance next Saturday to the Semi-State where their opponent will be Danville. The site will be either at Richmond or Jeffersonville. The winner of the Semi-State advances to the championship of the 3A State Tournament which will be held in Indianapolis on February 25th. The top players based on college potential were:
