Camp Exposure

Exposure at "Blue-Chip" is unmatched. A camper is judged by his performance at "Blue-Chip" but that’s just the beginning.

IF YOU WANT COLLEGE COACHES TO KNOW YOU, ONE MUST KNOW HIGH POTENTIAL/BLUE-CHIP!

HPBC POINT GUARD CAMP

The telephone call or email that I get the most often from college coaches is their need for a point guard. Why? The point guard is the most important position on the team and is an extension of the head coach. That is why backcourt players should consider our High Potential Blue-Chip Point Guard Camp July 12-13 at Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY. Our camp will be conducted by Dr. Mike Beitzel, a former head college coach for thirty years with stints at Northern Kentucky University and Hanover College. One would not believe the multitude of drills that Coach Beitzel has the players doing over the two day/one night camp. A player will definitely benefit in many ways by attending. The camp is open to players from middle school to high school for both boys and girls. For more information, click below.

HPBC POST CAMP

I've seen over 10,000 games since 1973 and there is no doubt in my mind that once the ball gets across the half-court line, the post player becomes the most important position on the team. The High Potential Blue-Chip Post Camp will be held June 24-25 at Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY. Randy Ward, our post camp director, has been a high school coach for over 35 years and is the game director for the Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game. Under Coach Ward's direction, a player will learn the proper techniques about developing into a better post player on both ends of the floor. The camp is open to middle school through high school players for both boys and girls. Let Coach Ward and our veteran staff take one's post game to the next level. Click below for more information.

HPBC SHOOTING CAMP

Our next few blogs will deal with our upcoming camps this summer at Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY. The first camp I will be describing is the High Potential/Blue-Chip Shooting Camp being held June 24-25. It will be directed by Coach Mike Beitzel who was a former head college coach at Northern Kentucky University and Hanover College. I get numerous calls throughout the season from college coaches seeking a player who can shoot the pill from the perimeter. If one can shoot it, recruiters will find a spot on their teams for you. One will learn the proper techniques from Coach Beitzel and his veteran staff to help any player improve his or her outside strokel. Click below for more information on the shooting camp which is open to both boys and girls in middle school through high school.
